5 Points Mountain Biking

Ready to ride? This is one of the Southeast’s best mountain biking trail systems. With smooth flow trails for beginners and more technical options for advanced riders, the 5 Points Trail Network is a win for the whole crew. Bring your own bike or rent from a local outfitter.

 

Lula Lake Land Trust

This easy-to-moderate hiking area features wide trails, shady trees, and a picture-perfect waterfall. Open to the public on select days, it’s a great way to stretch your legs and enjoy nature without straying too far from the tournament.

Wilderness Disc Golf + Happy Valley Disc Golf

Both courses offer a fun, laid-back disc golf experience with open fairways and scenic backdrops. They’re beginner-friendly and great for kids, but also have enough challenge for competitive players who want to keep their aim sharp.

 

Queen City Lake

Pack a picnic, rent a kayak, or just stroll around the lake at this peaceful local spot. Great for quick fishing breaks or lazy afternoons when you want to recharge in the fresh air.

 

Cloudland Canyon West Rim Hike

This scenic trail is a must-do for active families. It's about five miles round trip with incredible overlooks and manageable terrain. Take in sweeping views of the canyon, snap a few photos, and be back in time for dinner or warmups.

 

Battlefield Bicycle Tours

Pedal through wide, paved paths surrounded by Civil War monuments and wide-open fields. You can rent bikes locally and take a self-paced tour—perfect for a light workout mixed with a little history.

Lake Winnie Amusement Park

A classic amusement park with roller coasters, water rides, arcade games, and cotton candy galore. Just 15–20 minutes from most tournament hubs, it’s a crowd-pleaser for all ages, especially on rest days.

 

Rock City

Walk narrow bridges, explore giant rock formations, and gaze out at seven states from one point. Rock City is half nature park, half adventure zone, and it’s stroller- and kid-friendly from start to finish.

 

Chattanooga Lookouts Game

Catch a Minor League Baseball game with high energy, stadium snacks, and on-field fun between innings. It’s an easy drive from Walker County and makes for a great evening activity after a long game day.

Insane Paintball + Airsoft

Teens and older kids will love the adrenaline rush of team-based paintball or airsoft in a safe, supervised environment. Great for team bonding or blowing off steam.
